I don't know if this belongs in here or not but I thought what the heck.

I saw Dr. Cheema yesterday. Very good experience overall. Checked in and did the paperwork, - they had a form or two to fill out (basic stuff - name, passpot number - mostly verifying the info that she had put into the forms) - they took copies of passport, appointment letter, vaccination proofs, meds. Then got weighed and took my height. After this I saw the doc himself. A very pleasant gentleman. He asked a few standard questions, inspected my - ahem - lower abdomen. Asked about surgeries, etc. and then he did an eye examination.

I was given a requisition for labs and a chest x-ray and out of the doctor's office in about 40 minutes. Very pleasant staff.

Went to the labs and x-ray facility - they are in the same building twelve blocks down the road. Parking is a task. Keep circling until you get a spot. Waited about 30 minutes for the chest x-ray - did it twice. Then he called my name and said I could go.

Went upstairs to the labs. Waited almost an hour to get this done. The tech who did me was not great. She polwed around in one arm for a few minutes and couldn't get a hit. It was a little bizarre. Then she hit the other arm and plowed around in there until she did hit. Then out.

Overall - appointment time 9 am - totally complete by 11:30 or so.

Thanks for doing a medical review! It is handy for other people coming in if we do them :)

It cost $280 plus an additional $25 to have the results sent to me. I live on Vancouver Island and had to get back for work the next day so I could not stay. They would have been ready for pickup after 4:30 next day.
