G325A - Questions

Hi, I'm the foreign fiancee. Let's say my surname is Gan & my given name is Kah Yee, I know it's correct that I put Gan in the last name column, but is it correct that I put Kah Yee in first name column only, & put None (or should I put N/A / leave it empty?) in middle name column?

In the Applicant's Resident Last 5 Years, my Street Name & Number are longer than the column provided, can I continue to write it in the 2nd line, but there'll be empty space for the City, Province/State, etc in that 2nd line because it'll be provided in the 1st line?

Also (related to the above paragraph), the G325A example provided, it says "don't leave gap in time", then the applicant has address as far as from the day she was born. Do I need to do this too? From current till the day I was born? Or 1 address is enough if I stay at the same place in the last 5 years?

Lastly, Applicant's Employer Last 5 Years. Is it like the above that I've to go far back to the time I just got out of school?

Thank you in advance.

Sorry, another question. Do I need to fill G325A for my child also? She's 21 months old.

Not sure about your daughter, though maybe.

If your address don't fit, put in a "see attached schedule" and type it out on a page that you'll attach to the form.

As far as if you've lived somewhere your whole life, you can put (let's say you were born February, 1985) February 1985 as when you started living there.

The five year limit just weeds out people (like me) who have moved so many places that we'd need an extra page or two if we listed back to our place of birth...you answer the questions truthfully.

And yes. Put your first name Kah Yee as first name, and n/a for middle name.

Good luck, I know all the forms can be daunting!

***moved to process and procedures from progress reports ***

I wouldn't put n/a for middle name as the question is applicable. Put "no middle name" or ---------- and then pay extra attention to the NOA1 to make sure it's right.

If you have no middle name, use N/A or dashes such as "--------" through the middle name box. Even a combination of the 2 would work, "-------N/A-------"

You only need to go back 5 years, as the form states. You do not leave any gaps in time for the last 5 years. Also, you can hand write your address neatly if you can make it fit that way.

Employment is the same, only for the last 5 years.

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I guess I'll put ----N/A--- for the middle name since some said put N/A & some -----------.

I moved too many places in the past many years due to job & I don't keep the actual addresses & I can't remember them, just remember the area, but I've been staying in my own house for more than 5 years already, so I'll just put 1 address then.

For employment, correct me if I'm wrong. My last employment is Dec'09, so I'll put None for Jan-Dec'13, Jan-Dec'12, Jan'-Dec'11, Jan-Dec'10 & then the last employment, right?

Thanks for the great help!

good.gif

You only need to go back 5 years.. If you've been unemployed that long put

  • December 2009 - Present - unemployed
  • Date A - December 2009 - employment before that

You do not need to put down

  • Jan- dec unemployed
  • jan - dec unemployed
  • jan - dec unemployed

Another example from me and my form:

  • 07/09/2013 - Present - Canadian Tire
  • 04/23/2006 - 07/06/2012 - Zellers

I like to use the MM/DD/YYYY format
