According to Delta, she is in the air. Just two more plane changes and an immigration officer to get past, and this part of the journey will be behind us.

Congratulations! Hopefully the plane changes go smoothly and she doesn't end up in Cameroon or something like that. good.gif

You did well to get thru the drama and I am glad to hear she is airborne. Now the rest of the journey can be done together at least.

We will watch the T V to see if you are both in the crowd in October when football begins. Of course you have a lot of explaining to do about how that works.

Congratulations! If you do not mind me asking where is the POE? I was talking to Pui earlier today and she said the Japan airport is very easy to navigate.

The family has season tickets, but I'm content to watch from my living room. I suppose I'll have to take her once at least. I'll wait for that game when it's 20 below and snowing. Just to get the full experience.

I do not think she should have any problems at MSP. That is where Pui had her POE when she came here on her K1 but she did not have any connecting flights since we live in MN. Make sure she goes to the right once everybody ques up that is for new immigrants and the left side is for USC and residents. Good luck with all the connecting flights and everything.

In 2009 I had season tickets to the Vikings games and that was a fun year. I remember talking to Pui from skype on my way to the games and she was always like you are going to the game again.

Good to hear. Did they interview her right there in line or did they take her to one of the side rooms?

Her interview at MSP was in Thai. About 5 minutes total. Asked what I do for a living, What is the address she will be staying. reminded her to get married within the 90 Days. That was it

They had someone from CBP that spoke Thai in Minneapolis? That's a trip. Crazy.

Ya, I asked her twice. He spoke with you in Thai? She said the first officer spoke English, but then sent her to the 2nd guy and he spoke Thai.

My house has never been so clean and had so much healthy food in it. And she has only been here a day.

Seriously, we are really glad to have this part of the process behind us. We were very fortunate to have things go so smoothly. Due in no small part to the help we received here on VJ.
