Hello VJ’s family,

My fiancée had her interview lately and everything went fine, and at the end of the interview she was told that everything looks good and she was given a date and a time to come back (2 days after the interview). However, when she came back they told her she has to wait and they will contact her. When she asked what’s going on, they told her that everything is fine just some verification and they will call her as soon as they are done!. The visa status was “ready” before the interview, after the interview changed to “administrative processing”. The day before the date she was given to go back, the status changed to “issued” but when she got there, they told her to wait and they will call her. Does anyone have an idea what possibly is causing the delay? Thank you

The consulate is in Casablanca Morocco.

Totally normal, this is just administrative processing. It took about 4 weeks for my husband if I remember correctly. I emailed/called the consulate daily to check on the status. I was always very polite and nice but I just wanted them to see how involved I was. I doubt it helped at all, but it helped me.

Thank you all! It looks like the only option that I have at this point is waiting and waiting............ ClockWatch2.gif

New Beginnings. Do you remember exactly how long did it take? And was the visa status “issued”? Thanks for your help!

My husband interviewed for the K3 and then waited 6 weeks. He then was scheduled for his CR1 interview and after that interview he was in AP for about 2 weeks. I can't remember if his status said Visa Issued or not.

We are exactly one month now on AP. They wanted a cosponsor, so we took care of that so you aren't alone in your wait. I'm just upset it's almost 1 year since I originally filed. Mabrook Ramadan.

Hello everyone,

Today is a special day for us, my fiancée got her visa!!! We are so happy and thankful…. Allah is great and he is the most merciful!

I just want to thank everyone here in this website; you guys are more than what words can say!! I really appreciate what you do to help people be with their beloved ones.

For those who are still waiting, I know waiting and being away from the person you love is very painful, but you have to be patient and positive. At the end and when it is over, and when you think about it, it will put a big smile on your face. smile.png

I wish you all the best!! good.gif
