Has anyone been waiting as long as we have without there being an RFE contributing to the delay?! We are both very good-natured, but this is starting to get very old! Filed 11-1-2012. Received NOA1 11-5-2012. And absolutely NOTHING, NO ACTIVITY WHATSOEVER, since! We've called, filed E-requests, contacted our congressman, filed with ombudsman (or whatever that's called), clicked our heels together, wished upon a star, and still...NOTHING! I think the most frustrating part is to always get the same response, which is basically no response. At best, we have the website read back to us. There is absolutely no way of even knowing if our file is on someone's desk or heaved out of the car window of a disgruntled worker, and seemingly there is no real recourse or way of finding out. Sorry for the vent. But seriously, C'MON VSC!!!!! CRIMINY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, something is really wrong, don't know what to tell you. They should have either approved or sent RFE to all November filers by now. Keep bothering them as much as possible until someone can tell you what's going on. Don't bother with tier 1 support, they don't know anything and will just read the website back to you. If you call, ask for tier 2 right away. Make infopass appointment and demand some info from them. Waiting this long is beyond all appropriate processing times.

Good luck.

Left the States to be with my fiance, so I can't call or make an appointment yet. Booked the flight long ago because I just KNEW we would be approved by now. Hopefully something will happen soon. Otherwise, I will call for an appt and tier 2 support once I return. Nobody would even listen to me until 2 weeks ago. They stuffed me with that arbitrary October 15 processing date that wasn't changed until after I had left the country. Very frustrating.

Believe me I feel your pain. It took 6 months, two weeks and a couple of days to get our NOA2 and you are right, there was nothing in between the NOA1 until it was approved. Not one word from USCIS, no 'touches' nothing. It is frustrating to say the least! The DACA's have every service center going at a snails pace right now for K1 filers.

Good luck!:)

I read a couple of times on different threads here that there was a flood at the office that effected November filers. I could be wrong, but might be something to research?

Thanks everyone! On to the next phase. Until then, we're both soaking up a little more New Zealand until the unexpected journey continues into the northern hemisphere. ;-)
