9/17/10 - Received in Dallas
9/23/10 - NOA1 (Email - Sent to VSC)
9/24/10 - NOA1 (Letter Received Dated 9/20/10)
10/3/10 - Touched
3/23/11 - NOA2 (Email - Sent to NVC)
3/31/11 - Letter from NVC confirming receipt (Letter dated then)
4/6/11 - Email confirmation from NVC - Paperwork sent to Frankfurt
4/9/11 - Packet 3 received from Frankfurt
4/19/11 - Packet 4 received from Frankfurt
5/16/11 - Fiance's Interview in Frankfurt - Approved
6/11/11 - Wedding Date

7/1/11 - NOA AOS, EAD, AP documents received
7/27/11 - Biometrics
8/26/11 - Emails that AP and EAD are approved - EAD card sent to be ordered, should be sent within 30 days
10/31/11 - Email that GC is approved.
11/4/11 - GC received!

I noticed that none of the cases that have been transferred so far, since April, have been approved yet.

Whereas, cases that have been approved already ( in some cases, within 2 months for some July filers) have not gone through a transfer at all.

I wondered pretty much the same thing, where do all these VSC cases join the queue? Is the queue nominally by NOA1 date? Date received at CSC?

What is funny about this wait is it doesn't really matter how long this takes for 90%+ of the people(including me) as long as you are approved within 6 mos to a year but I still find myself checking the USCIS on a weekly basis.

I m confused now....

I saw a few postings saying that actually the people getting approved it s people that has been transferred to the CSC.... and now I see u r saying the people that was transferred haven t been approved yet???

Could someone clarify this????

And CONGRATS to the 2 people that got approved!!!!! to what center did you send the papers?? were you transferred at any point????

I cannot wait for this immigration journey to be over!!

Got a letter and mine is approved! My letter was dated 9/17 approval. The website is not updated, I'm checking it everyday and it is still under "initial review". Just waiting for my green card now!!!

If you look at the CSC list, you will see that people who are getting approved are the ones whose cases were not transferred from VSC.

On the VSC list, no one is approved yet.

Also, everyone whose cases have been transferred from VSC to CSC, have not been approved yet.

Oh ok, my bad then....

But I think it s better to be positive and think that maybe things run faster at the California center anyways so HOPEFULLY all cases transferred there will get approved sooner than expected.

For what friends told me and my lawyer said I wasn t expecting to get approved til around Jan or so but of course getting approved before then would make me sleep better at night..lol

Let s hope this long and tedious immigration journey is over for all of us very soon! :)
