Hi all

I am just about to submit our application pack in the next day or so and have a few questions regarding the above question.

Should we mention third parties by name or by relationship that is father, mutual friends, etc.

And here is our proposed answer please feel free to give any feed back, etc.

[your name and full address]

Dear Sir or Madam,

[beneficiary's name] and I met when he first came to the United States on a visitor visa to visit his friends and to travel the South West United States during April 2010. At the time I was on vacation in California with my father staying at the [XX Motel] where visited to meet some mutual friends of my Father. The group of us went the Local Restaurant and me and John got talking and became friends and swapped contact details.

John then contact me to ask me on date as he had planed to return to the United States in November 2011 we meet in California and really hit it off and we have been communicating unceasing ever since.

After which John has visited the united states to see me in April 2012 when we got engaged in Kentucky, I visited the UK in November 2012 and John visited me in again April 2013.

We love each other very, very much and want to get married.

Yours very truly,

your name

Sounds absolutely fine. It's way more than we wrote and we had no problems. I think you can refer to them whichever way you feel most comfortable with. I would probably lean more towards father, mutual friends, etc.

You only need to mention one of the meeting dates and provide evidence for that sole meeting. All else is just extra and can be confusing and cause delays at the worst.

Thanks for your help everyone, now here's my question I new Jeanie for a year or two before as friends coming a item. So would they need to know from 1st meet and from when became friends (which was over two years ago) or when we were in a relationship?

The other question is that we have scheduled the wedding (in pencil) for November 2013 is this timeline realistic or not?

I would probably just mention the relationship side of things.

And I'm afraid November 2013 won't happen unless you can expedite (military etc) . We just got our NOA2 after a 3 month wait (which is considered quick), and are now expecting a month or two wait before the interview. I would rethink your plans for 2014, and remember not to book anything until you have the visa in hand. ;)

No needing that information now. They only want to know that you met in person somewhere within the last two years. Period.

Save all else for the interview.

Send anything that is dated within the past two years. The more proof the better.
