Today seems to be my super special happy day. Not only did I get off the phone with the NVC about an hour ago to find out that my case is complete. Even better, I've just received an e-mail with my interview date: August 20, 2013. Sooooo happy. dancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gif

Just called NVC and got informed that my case is complete. Yiieepiee dancin5hr.gif

NVC received both packages (AOS & IV) on 20 June 2013.

Thanks to everyone posting in this forum. I got a lot of useful tips and was able to estimate pretty acurately, when my case would be reviewed.

Just some additional info I would like to share in return:

I called NVC last week and the could not see if my packages were received (Operator said only once the actual review starts, is when they put it into their system).

I tried logging into https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx today and got the following message (previously it would just show the status of my payments):

" Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please contact the National Visa Center if you believe that you have received this message in error."

When I log in to https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx it still shows "At NVC".

Logging into the payment portal https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx still works and shows PAID status.

I got the same error message. Does it mean that my case is complete too?

From which source did you hear that?

I see that you received a checklist on 07/03 on both packages. Maybe yours was showing in the system since 07/08 because they started the review earlier when they generated the checklist? Or are you saying "since Monday" because they received your checklist on 07/08 and the checklist papers were already showing in the system?

Two NVC operators told me yesterday. They have been telling me since Monday that their system is showing that i have a package waiting to be reviewed. You can also call NVC to confirm.

10/01/2012 – I-130 Package delivered to Chicago Lockbox

Well the day before I received my checklist the operator told me the packages were in the system

. Ask the date because as I remember when my first AoS was in the system and the operator inform me that they will still waiting for some information and documents. Now I called again and spoke to mel. same answer I ask if my case complete. That they still waiting for one document. and Aos Checklist information was reviewed last friday July 5.

Alright! They e-mailed the IV cover sheet this afternoon, added it to my DS-260 supporting documents and got it sent off! All fees are now paid and all of the paper work and supporting documentation has been sent off. C'mooooooooooooooon case complete!

Yeah, there seems to be some misinformation from NVC about this. I talked to another rep, who confirmed our packets show up as received on 07/03 (they were delivered on 07/01). So it does seem they can see the files much sooner in the system, which is good for folks who just want to confirm NVC has their papers.

He said he can see there are two documents that are "still awaiting review". He mentioned that it can take up to 20 business days for the review to be completed, to which I asked "but has the review started" and he said he doesn't know; he just sees they are awaiting review.

Is there a reason why you're not sending in tax transcripts?

The 1040 is obviously going to be a copy as the original was sent to the IRS. The W2 can either be one of your copies or a photocopy. Doesn't matter.
