Interview dates

Once your case is complete at NVC, what is/are the general guidelines as to when the interview will be? For example, seems that on average, interview dates are about 1.5 months after case completes at NVC. So if case completes early in month of, say July, when would interview be (approximately)? Or if it completes mid or end? Does the priority date play any part in this at all?

I received a checklist on June 21 and sent off the information requested on June 22...NVC needed more proof of my wife's domicile. I received email from NVC on June 24, saying takes 20 business days to process from when info is sent in to them. I'm just trying to gauge as to when my interview window will be, assuming that I don't receive any more checklists about domicile (which I shouldn't, as I confirmed on the phone what documents I'm sending).

You're looking at maybe case complete mid July or later so you would have case complete by end of July. Then in the interview queue for September.

Priority date not so much. Case Complete date yes. I have seen where priority date looked like it was used as to who gets the earlier dates on the schedule.

Since January NVC has been starting scheduling of interviews last few days of month going into the first week (last month they stopped about the 14th).

I am hoping that since tomorrow is last business day in June maybe they will start with August interviews.

Here is the current thread for Case Complete July Interview so you can see. Just concentrate on case complete.

I think you'll start to see interview dates being scheduled July 2 and 3... and then not again until the week after.
