Just a quick note for anyone who is planning on crossing at the Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls.

Crossing was fine, no one even looked in the truck or asked to see a list of items. They just asked what was in there I said my personal belongings then they sent my fiance and I inside.

It was November 24, so the Thanksiving weekend and it was very busy. It took 2.5 hours to get processed, but actually only 15 minutes after they finally got to me and took my paperwork. The officer then told me I had to pay $6.00 when he was ready for me. Once he was finished he called me over took my money and then told me to make sure that I do my paperwork for Adjustment of Status as even if I get Advance Parole that I will be flagged and pulled in everytime until I have Adjustment done, so he said to be prepared for that if I travel before that.

Best of luck to anyone else crossing there, just be patient and they seem to be very nice.

i hope that if 'the truck' is yours and you are importing it that you got the proper paperwork done (HS7 if i recall correctly) else you will have troubles registering it here.

I went through the Buffalo Peace Bridge on Nov 23 at 1800. The whole process lasted about 40 minutes from my 1st encounter with a CPB officer through secondary inspection. The only reason it took this long was about a 15 minute wait when I entered secondary inspection, then the camera would not work and the officer had not done K1's b4, so he had to ask around otherwise the process was painless and the officers were nice. However, they did not seem to be aware of the single entry stipulation on the K1. One of them said I could go back & forth until I got married...of course this is not true. They did in the end impart more accurate information.

When i stepped out to leave there was a CPB officer playing with his K-9. Even though it would appear that they hadn't molested me about my vehicle & possessions, I bet the K-9 gave my truck a sniff test.
