Good evening all,

Today, I noticed that our petition had been approved.

From what I've gathered, it seems my fiancée will be attending the CDJ consulate.

It seems I have to wait about a week before I can call up NVC in order to ask for the invoice and beneficiary's number.

Am I correct?

If so, once I have collected those numbers, will I be able to make an appointment for my fiancée's medical, fingerprints and interview?

Could anyone correct me if I'm wrong?

Thanks

Hi, As soon as the NVC has your case they should have your numbers and information ready to be given to you. I didn't have to wait a week. Once you have that info you have to fill out the DS-260 and print the confirmation page, and make the required payment. Once you do those two things you're able to schedule your ASC and interview appointment online or via the Embassy. Best of luck.

How long before I can call them?

Thanks

Hi, after we got our approval we wait about a week before calling the NVC. By that time they had already sent our case to ciudad juarez so I then asked them for the beneficiary ID, Case number (if you don't have already), and the Invoice ID number. After that I then used those number to fill out the online DS 260 application. That alone took a few days for us. Once we finished we submitted it and then printed the confirmation page as you will need it in Juarez. There is a question on that form that ask the relationship to the petitioner Fiancé is not an option so you will need to put spouse. Anyways after that you register on the csc site, https://usvisa-info.com/en-MX/selfservice/login on that site you can then make the payment you will need for the ASC and Interview, if I remember correctly its 240 USD. Once you make the payment either through the same site or by calling the CDJ embassy you may make your interview appointment and the ASC appointment. Your ASC appointment has to be at least one day ahead of time, but two is the safest. Medical is a walk in thing but takes a few hours, plan for three days ahead minimum to go to that if possible. Hope this helps. Saludos-
