Asking for someone else.

Their case sent back from embassy after over a year in AP. Now they receive this text last night and a email and haven't gotten the hard copy yet but we never got anything about a NOIR.

So anyone get a reaffirm that reads like the first. I know they have changed so much wording and such and it just seems they just sent the generic NOA2 approval. Like its getting approved the first time? Confused here people.

Yes, it looks like an initial approval and not like a reaffirmation so I don't know if the case was reaffirmed....just tell them to call and inquire or wait for the hard copy.
Let us know what happens. They at least have a current date so it does not seem to be misinformation. I cautiously lean toward the 'yes it was reaffirmed' side.
Many cases are reaffirmed without a NOIR/NOID letter.

Also the petitioner can start calling NVC and DOS to confirm in a week or so.

Usually USCIS will let you know that your case is under review. Looks like they didn't do that with this case. I also cautiously lean towards the case being reaffirmed but a call to USCIS on Monday should resolve the issue.

Well they did just say "I did get a notice our case was returned and under review april 18 and then last night came that email that it was approved."

So a phone call on monday is forth coming will keep you posted. thank you

Usually takes from 2 to 4 months. This will be the most frustrating time (like the before wasn't right). But you will call NVC you will call DOS you will call USCIS. And no one will have your petition. The embassy no.

It's like theu are playin hot potatoe hiding the petition. But just know it will come to light and you will be notified of your interview dater but due call like week to week NVC or DOS to find out where your wortition is and whats up. (I know me and I would call 2 or 3 times a day but thats me). So just hang on
