I received a RFE request asking for:

Circumstances of meeting; submit information regarding the circumstances under which the petitioner and beneficiary met to establish the relationship

In the origin package I sent a copy of all the boarding passes. But I'm not sure why they are asking or how I should answer.

Could anyone help me?

Boarding passes do not tell them how you met. It tells them when you met.

They want to know how you met. Through a friend, on vacation, via the internet, etc.

They are trying to establish how you began your relationship.

That would be question 18 on the I129F if that helps you to understand the RFE . You can go back and read it to help remember how you answered it or if you forgot . Basically as the others have said they want to know the circumstances on how you met . Maybe you put an X there , but they want a description under that question 18 . Most use an attached sheet for that question and would put in that box see attached for question 18 .

Is that all you sent in as proof of meeting ?

Besides describing how you met, send evidence to prove meeting: passport stamps, boarding passes, hotel receipts, ATM/debit card/credit card receipts or bank/credit statements showing purchases in each others countries during the times you are claiming to have been together. Back all that evidence up with a few photos taken at the time you were visiting. Boarding passes alone are not enough proof, if that is all you sent.

I met my fiancé through a friend while I was visiting Mexico City during the summer of 2010; at first we didn't talk at all but midway through 2011 we began talking more and more via Facebook.

I decided to pay a visit in December 2011.

Then on February she came to the US and from then on our relationship began. We have seen each other every single month and we have plenty of plane tickets as evidence.

In my original I-129f package I:

I responded to question #18 though I think I was quite brief

Sent a good amount of pictures

Sent photocopies of our plane tickets.

Now, in this RFE, I will send:

A letter explaining how our relationship began.

Photos copies of plane tickets and entry seals from our passports

Should this suffice?

I wonder how much longer I would have to wait before we receive our NO2?

Thanks

Yes, the letter and the passport stamps in one or both your passports that show the visits along with the boarding passes should do it.

Times vary for getting approved after the RFE is received by them, a couple weeks to 60 days or so. Prepare to wait, but hope for it to be fast.

My fiance and I are working on collecting all the info needed for this question. He lives in the US and I live in Hungary. Is it enough if I just photocopy the page that has the personal information in my passport and the page that contains the stamp proving my entry into the United States? Or do I have to photocopy the entire passport? Can someone help me with this? Thanks.

Google is your friend. Try this link. Go to the Request for evidence and see what it says. It is usually considered a bad thing as you forgot something and need to send it in before they continue processing your petition or application--thus slowing you down.

Yes, just the biographical page and pages that contain the passport stamps will work for proof of meeting.
