CSC to NVC lost Documents

We received our approval letter for our I-129F on May 9th. I called the NVC today and they have not received any information or documents from the CSC. The NVC instructed me to scan and send them my approval letter in an email. Is this common? Does this mean there could be a problem?

This happened to me as well. It seems our approved petition was sitting in the CSC mailroom waiting for enough to be accumulated before they mailed a package to NVC. It took about four weeks from approval of the petition to it being delivered to the NVC.

It seems to be a common issue recently but was not previously. Some peoples files had been sent to the NRC instead of the NVC as well. Just keep on top of it and stay in contact with them until they locate the file. ( NRC national records center - where files go after they are finished their processing completely for storage )

My petition is accidentally sent to NRC instead of NVC. They have told me it can take up to 2 months to undo the mistake they made. So yes, stay on top of things.

^What MGAF said. Stay on top of things. It happened to us too.

I posted these topics not too long ago:

Don't stop calling USCIS and NVC. Try to talk to Tier 2 / Supervisors / Managers.

april 19 here .. not at nvc yet :(

definitely speak with an IO at uscis and ask them to dig deep into their screens and see where the file is located. You mite get a bunch of BS about having to wait 90 days or such until you can investigate, but press them and you will get an answer.

the national records center can be several different things, in my case it was tagged at the nrc, but this was the filing location at the local office that approved it.. yep..over six weeks and still sitting at the place it was approved.
