have you tried calling the NVC??? to ask for your MNL#??? i read on here that you dont need to wait for the notice from the embassy and can go ahead and call NVC to get your MNL# and sched an interview at the embassy. try checking hank's guide for the number. Good luck! :)

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

my fiance used to call the NVC everyday.. so far, there is no update yet.. though patience is a virtue, we would like to have the case number already so i can go ahead and get the medical done so that whatever is the result atleast we still have lots of time to deal with it. at the same time we are also chasing with the airfare knowing how expensive it is at this time (where it is summer in the US).. we can only determine the flight dates if we already have the case number and scheduled for the interview too... hummm

bttw, i created a mini webpage where i put most of the steps that we need to do after getting the case number.lol

honestly, looking at Hanks guides makes my eyes hurt.. it's hard to read guides were all copy pasted and is very longggggg. that is why i made my own guide and preferred print screens as possible. People are happy with his guide and I am happy with mine..

the guides that are on Hanks are all on those webpages where we should go and check...

May 21st is still way within the time frame to get to NVC, I should think. I was approved May 17 and still no arrival at NVC. Every time I call they seem a little less friendly and tell me "ma'am, you're supposed to wait 15 BUSINESS DAYS before calling" so I thank them all friendly-like and call back the next day.

I do hope mine arrives really soon because I am starting to worry, seeing the horror stories of misrouted files between USCIS to NVC, but ... I seriously doubt you should worry yet being the 21st. You've got at least this week to wait, unless you're one of the very lucky ones who go fast.

there's never too early or too late to worry. though we aren't expecting to get the case number fast... we are expecting atleast on our 10th business days or 15th.. lucky those who got theirs on their 10th business days.. like what you said, there are cases that are misrouted for whatever reasons that the others don't know, that is why as much as possible we would love to hear from NVC about the case sooooon. besides it won't cost for my fiance to call the NVC... so that's why he calls everyday.lol

Once you have waited 7-10 business days have your fiancée call (603)-334-0700- Have your EAC # and pertinent information about you (i.e name etc) and his information. He simply explains he received notice of approval and needs the MNL# to proceed. The person that helped me was nice. Have him call later in the day US time like 7pm est. I was on hold about 10 mins and then got through. Very easy. BTW you are just at 8 business days here in the USA as last week was a Holiday.

Well I called NVC this morning. And guess what ???? Our Petition finally arrived today Monday June 3 rd . Wow finally !!!

Was approved on May 20th .

Anyone approved around this date, your petition should be there.

Just have to call each day after to see if a case number has been assigned .
