What do you fill up on "National Identification Number" is it ok to put the SSS number?

July 13, 2013 = Arrived in the U.S. (Port of Entry: Hawaii)

August 3, 2013 = Got married!

August 29, 2013 = Mailed application for Adjustment of Status

September 7, 2013 = Received NOA1

October 1, 2013 = Biometrics done.

November 20, 2013 = Scheduled interview.

December 2, 2013 = Green Card received! The letter said they approved my application on Nov 22.

NOA 1 = Sept. 7, 2014

Biometrics = October 1, 2014

Interview = October 20, 2014

Green card received = October 22, 2014

Thank you for that. But it was instructed on the packet to answer ds 230 part 1 only. How come on the example the first half of part 2 was answered?

Just fill out Part 1 of DS-230 for K1 as instructed. Other visa uses that same form.

But DS 156 is an online application. It cant be change anymore:( it could only be done once

You can, actually. I had typos the first time I tried so I filled out another one again. Didn't have any problems at the embassy. :)
