Also if you qualify on just assets, are only sponsoring 1 person, and are the only person sponsoring - use the I-864EZ.

I have a copy of the old form. Do you think I should send that as well or will it not matter at this point?

Nope at this point dont do it, it will take same amount of time any ways, because even though they might process first the old version that you may sent, they still will have the new form on their system, and as long they have a document without been reviewed your case will be still open... so just be patient and wait until the process it..... I did same thing and sent new form..... and still waiting

Incorrect, if you are qualifying on assets alone, then you must use the I-864.

just talk to them too. aske them if i can send the old form and he said thats ok and they will review it

They will review it, but they wont close the case untill they dont start reviewing new form, because that new form will be on their system as pending. ... so unfortunately my friend there is no shortcuts for us that sent new form....either way we will have to wait for them to get the instructions

You posted this on another thread. The best idea would have been to make your own thread. I'll try to answer your questions there. Please don't post all over the board trying to get an answer wink.png

duplicate post - actually one of 8 posts and 2 original threads - has been removed. As NLR stated, do not post the same topic or post more than once or in more than one location. Please restrict all of your discussion on your question to the thread you have started. Posting in more than one location will not get you more information - it will probably get you less and members will see all of the posts and not bother to respond.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
