it is awfully quite. No action in the April, May, June or July threads.

I stopped looking at the August thread. It hurts too much to see approvals left and right when we are still hold hostage in here!!!!!!!!

I was told 11 days agos that my petitions were actually with an officer.

How long does it take for an officer to get through their assignment?

I hate to say it but I don't think this "with an officer" information holds any water. LoveMyTico over in the April thread was told the same thing ages ago, certainly over a month, and she's still waiting. I think as with everything else at USCIS it's luck of the draw. There doesn't seem to be an enforced time frame these adjudicators have to move specific files off their desk within.

I know that because I got another email 4 days after that satating that my petitions are still pending consideration.

And when I called Tier 2 they tried to explain to me that the emails are not contradicting each other and that my petitions are with an officer and the officer did not get to them yet, so they are still pending consideration.

Well you're in good company here for hating Nebraska, 60% of June filers are sitting there equally screwed. Hoping they'll continue the movement they started last week though!
