Hopefully someone else who has done the process in Cuba can chime in to help you. It's really dependent on the consulate/embassy. Some places ship them out super fast, and others take a bit.

The embassy I went thru said it took min of 3 days. Your embassy may be different.

A good question for people that went thru Havana would ask how many were put in A P prior to issuing the visa. I would think they all do because of the political situation.

Hi-

They should have given her a piece of paper with a date for when to return to pick up the visa. If not, you will need to wait for SINA to call her. Just as an FYI, on the day she goes to pick up the visa, she should get there EARLY. I have seen people be turned away even though they were told to pick up the visa that day because SINA had already reached that day's quota for visas.

Good luck!
