I tried to find the FAQ on this but couldnt find a clear source, but can anyone give me a brief explanation as to what priority date means? Does this have to do if you're a child of a citizen and applying? Do children and military personnel get 1st priority (would be my guess)?

in my case, I'm applying for my wife's citizenship (I'm a US citizen). She's been in the US for just over 3 yrs, which qualifies her on basis of marriage to me (we've been married 4 yrs).

USCIS: 10-06-2009: I-130 rec'd by USCIS; 03-16-2010: I-130 APPROVAL (after 5+ friggin months of torture, agony and waiting!)
NVC:
04-29-2010: INTERVIEW ASSIGNED FOR JUNE 10TH IN CHENNAI CONSULATE, INDIA; 06-10-2010: INTERVIEW - VISA APPROVED!!!!!
06-18-2010: Entered US - NEW YORK CITY and 08-16-2010: GC received! (nearly 2 months after PoE) woo hoo!
AOS for permanent 10 yr green card:

04-02-2012: NOA of I-751 and 1 yr extension of temp green card

05-03-2012: Biometrics appointment

12-18-2012: 10 yr Green card approved; 12-22-2012: Green card rec'd

N-400 citizenship:

06-19-2013: N-400 mailed; 06-22-2013: N-400 rec'd at Dallas lockbox

10-3-2013: Interview date - APPROVED!

10-18-2013: NATURALIZED - We are done with USCIS!!!

Sorry I have not been posting, I forgot to tell you all we got the letter for the biometrics. and it WILL be in West Palm Beach. (Royal Palm Beach, actually, but its still technically West Palm). The date is 7/10/13 . So, that answers that question! Now, if only the interview won't be scheduled til AFTER we get back from Pakistan, as we leave on the 23rd and return Aug 20.. but we are all for moving the flight up depending on Interview date. So... thanks to all who tried to help and looking forward to keeping up with all of you!

It seems that you went through the removal of conditions the same time we did. My husband got his 10 yr green card in March of this yr also! Welcome to the thread. Good luck with your N400 application. In Sha Allah!

Guess they're moving on things. I got the NOA1 today. Although mine (my wife's that is) says

"The above application has been rec'd by our office and is in process......Upon receipt of all required Record Checks, you will be scheduled to appear for an interview at your local USCIS field office."

Priority date is same as the received date - 06/24/2013. I've updated below (see in bold and blue).

Guess I'll look for the biometrics letter in the next couple of days.

whats an in line date? do we get a letter for that? if in line date is "in line for interview" then what is "interview letter" date? thats something different?

bit confused about those two columns, maybe because I haven't recieved the in line info or interview letter info yet on my case.

whats an in line date? do we get a letter for that? if in line date is "in line for interview" then what is "interview letter" date? thats something different?

bit confused about those two columns, maybe because I haven't recieved the in line info or interview letter info yet on my case.

Sometime after your biometrics, your online status should change to say "In line for Interview".

"Interview latter" date is the date when you receive the letter showing your interview appointment
