Yes. The DS-3032 is part of the IV track which has NOTHING to do with the AOS track. They're both two separate, independent tracks.

Great. Thanks for confirming, Saylin!

Silly question - Does NVC still have the automated phone line? When i called the 603# it directly puts me on hold to speak with someone...It's been 4 days since my NOA2 approval and just want to check if there's a case # on file...

it takes about 15 business days or more....mine took 47 days..

I just asked this question in a separate thread. It seems it doesn't matter. People have made it out to "To Whom it May Concern" and both NVC and the Embassy were OK with it.

Thanks everyone...

I've got a tax related question - seperate thread out there...can someone help ?

IRS hasn't processed the 2012 TR yet and honestly, i'm not sure how soon they will finalize it (pending ITIN documentation issues).

What could/should i provide with the AOS package

If you don't send in tax transcripts, then you have to send a copy of the ENTIRE tax return package. This includes: 1040, all W2s, all 1099s, all worksheets, all schedules. Basically, everything that was sent to the IRS has to be sent to NVC.

Glad i'm organized! I was afraid the IRS would have a heartburn over the ITIN request (lack of supporting / irs acceptable documentation) and made me two copies of the returns.

Thanks for your quick response...

Hi all,

Me again. My NOA2 date was May 31, 2013. 15 business days was last Friday (June 21st). Today is June 25th and it is still not at NVC. I have emailed NVC. I have called USCIS everyday - they give me differing information (it takes 30, 60, 90 days to get to NVC depending on the tier 1 officer I get). The tier 2 officers have confirmed that my file has not left Los Angeles but is "pending transfer." USCIS has put in an inquiry that they are supposed to respond to by July 6th.

Today, NVC told me that it could take up to 15 business days for the file to reach NVC and then 10 to 20 business days for it to get entered into their system!!! First I've heard of that. Is this true? That makes it 25 - 35 business days before they have it on their system! That doesn't seem to be in line with what other people are experiencing. Maybe it's 10 to 20 business days to invoice? Whatever it is - it's bad at this point as my petition hasn't even gotten to NVC.

Anything else I can do? I'm calling NVC and USCIS every day. I talk to a Tier 2 rep at USCIS - they can tell me it hasn't left but cannot put in another service request (one per 30 day period). NVC only tells me it's not there and I can email - which I have already done (except for the new information I learned today).

Any other help or advice will be appreciated. I'm getting desperate. Is making an INFOPASS appointment in Los Angeles worth it?

THANK YOU.
