Approximately how long is it currently taking for NVC to accept the DS 3032 email? We sent the form to NVCInquiry on June 4th, no response as yet.

Well, it's been less than 2 business days. You definitely need some patience as it can take up to 2 weeks.

it's my understanding you must submit court documents if you have a police certificate that shows a criminal record?

Although from my experience, they can request court documents even if all of your police certificate shows you have NO criminal record.

So now we have a 6 month delay with still no Visa.

sure they're just doing there job, but certainly a lousy job considering they told my wife she would have her Visa 6 months ago.

Yup, that's listed on the NVC web site thingie in the civil documents section.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

we originally sent ours 05/23/2013 and never received a response. So we re-sent with "supervisor Review" added to the subject line 6/4/13 after we paid the AOS fee and received the acceptance email on 06/05/13. I would re-send.

My wife resend the DS-3032 form with supervisor review-2nd time sending early this morning, and get the approval late afternoon. Now, I am waiting the IV bill to appear in the system.

Thanks for the answer!

then why did the US Embassy in Paris demand court documents from my wife when it is a known fact that she has no criminal record?

Interesting question.

There's a huge difference between

1. being arrested

2. being charged with a crime

3. being convicted of a crime

so if #1 happened and #2 happened but not #3, for example, there's still going to be a court document set . Also, if #3 not occur, then there is no criminal record , per se but there will be a court record .

Again, that's just an example. I'm not an attorney nor do I play one on TV - so , as with everything, YMMV, greatly.
