I want to know exactly what the next steps are so as to avoid any delays.

I am going to send my Fiance the remaining papers (she has the duplicate I-129F packet already). I have heard conflicting things about the medical and the consulate interview.

One post mentioned you have to wait to schedule the medical until you get your interview date? That can't be right can it? We would like to go ahead and get the medical completed and ensure we have all the immunizations required (help with this if you know about these please) so when the interview is scheduled in Frankfurt, we will be 100% ready.

As it is now, she is going to get her medical done next week. The immunizations are something we would like clarification on, if anyone has passed this step please let me know if there is anything we need to prepare for

3/25/2013 - Sent I-129F

7/31/2013 - Email stating approval of I-129F case

8/15/2013 - Email stating case shipped to NVC

8/26/2013 - Called NVC and received case number

8/30/2013 - Medical Completed

GREAT TO HEAR! It's about time they sent your approval your way. Keep those sleeves rolled up though, you may still need them yet but at least you are moving onto the next stage!

I'm not sure if it exactly works the same for each embassy, and well you should really create a new topic for this, once you have the case number you can schedule the medical.

I had my medical done last Friday. You won't get the interview date if you didn't complete the medical yet. It's a pack 3 requirement so go ahead and schedule. You don't even need a NVC case number in Germany. The uscis case number is just fine

~ Jan ??,2013 ~ Service Center ~ Vermont I-129F Packet sent

NOTE: Actual sent date unknown due to lawyer negligence - I delivered ALLForms and PAID Lawyer on Nov 7, 2012 - Lawyer kept saying he sent the packet and USCIS must have lost it. When in reality he failed to send the package and only a new copy to USCIS after I made a legal written demand giving him 10 days to perform or return ALL monies paid to him, due to "non-performance".

(IMO it's better to save your money for visits to or from your Fiancé and just fill it out yourself using the K-1 Guide on VJ and Senior Members... They Rock!!!)

I had my medical done last Friday. You won't get the interview date if you didn't complete the medical yet. It's a pack 3 requirement so go ahead and schedule. You don't even need a NVC case number in Germany. The uscis case number is just fine

I would be careful, with different countries i think is different requirements. I know Australia was adamant that you need to have your CASE number from NVC (not your USCIS number) to proceed with a valid Medical otherwise it was void. Medicals are valid for 6 months though.

As far as I know his fiancé is German so it's not a different country.

Neither can I :) but he mentioned frankfurt ;) I wouldn't dare to give advice if I'm not a 100% sure. This process is too important

I think only in munich since you did it there. :) in Frankfurt and Dortmund you Need the FRN (nvc) case number for the medical.

I'm not sure if my actions had any bearing of if it was just great timing...

For me though I believe we have Angels guiding and guarding our case.

I called USCIS and demanded to speak to a Tier 2 Rep and was told they had a "Technical issue" that prevented them form transfers. So i asked for a Service Request because though I had my Approval Letter in my hand my status had not changed in their system and NVC had not received it. I asked them to physically locate my file... They said 3-5 day wait for a call back and then POOF!! MAGIC!!! It just updated!

Don't give up.. Yours is on it's way.. I think today is your day!!
