My petition was approved on Nov 6, I called NVC yesterday and was told My case had already been sent to Manila, You might want to recheck with USCIS, your case should have been before mine. Good Luck!

Did you get a letter saying it went to New Hampshire?

I was told by CIS that sometimes they go straight to the consular instead of New Hampshire. Has anyone got letter saying it went to NH, instead it went to Manila.

Hello all

Hopefully you can give me some calm down advise. I am awaiting as patient as I can. I received approval of my I-129F on October 17, 2006 and my letter says that CIS sent it to NVC in New Hampshire. Well its been over 4 weeks and NVC has no record of it. I thought my baby would be here for christmas, but I have it set in my mind that she won't be, and that's ok we will have many together in the future.

I look forward to chatting with some of you.

She wouldn't be here by Christmas even if the NVC had received the case immediately and forwarded it to Manila the next day. You should plan on waiting about 4 months for an interview after Manila receives the case.

Hi! Try to email NVC - NVCInquiry@state.gov and ask them if your case is already forwarded to USE Manila. Dont forget to put below information in your email:

USCIS NUMBER-WAC-06-XXX - XXXXX

PETITIONER NAME -

BENEFICIARY NAME -

Beneficiary Date Of Birth -

I called CIS this morning and spoke with an Officer and she told me that if my I-129f non-immigrant visa paperwork was sent to New Hampshire it was a mistake. She is 99% sure it goes straight from CIS to the Embassy in Manila. The letter is not always correct. Other than the fact that it has been approved. I have some hope that it is in Manila.

Huh? That sounds crazy. I think you got a bozo on the phone. I believe ALL petitions approved by USCIS go through NVC. Why would yours be an exception?

Yes it will go to Manila AFTER it goes to NVC, just like all K-1 VISA petitions.

Hey Dave, Listen, all approved I-129F's must go through the NVC in New Hampshire b4 going to USE in Manila. My Lily and I just went through the exact same thing that your going through now and I was even questioning what was happening. You can do like we did and email the NVC and give them your information and they may take some time to get back to you , but not very long, and you should also receive a letter stating that your docs have been sent to USE in Manila. Dont fret if they have finally left the CIS then you are well on your way. I will tell you be patient right now through the holidays, USE in Manila does seem to be backed up some and you should be prepared to wait 3 to 5 months like they say. Its frustrating I know, but hang in there guy your with the rest of us. Fee free to ask if you have any other questions, my Lily is in Philippines also, we all know how you feel. we all pull together to help ease everyones pains as best as we can.
