Dear VJs,

Can we automatically track case status with NVC when we call them at 603-334-0700. I didn't find a function to key in my receipt number and get the status? I ask this because no operator ever answered my phone. Whenever I called, they were busy. They didn't even put me a hold. They just returned me to the main menu or just say "Good bye".

Which visa are we talking about your profile lacks that data, just N/A showing below your name in your post.

If you are dong a K-1 or K-3, you need to either email NVC with case number, and name and DOB of beneficiary, and petitioner, or call the number and speak to a live operator. The Automated system wont have info for K visas.

I just talked to them about 30 min ago. The message gave me options and I used #2. I had about a 3 min wait for a real person, he was very nice, ask for the case number, and my phone number, name and birthdate of my wife, then told me what I wanted to know.:thumbs:

Call the number again and press #1 (english) and #5 (operator). If they're very very busy, you'll hear something in spanish and then they'll send you back to the main menu. I just try the same thing again 2 minutes later and usually get an operator.

Give the operator your MSC receipt # and they'll let you know if your case has been received yet... etc.

Good luck.
