Contacted Congressman Re VSC

I contacted my congressman and they sent an inquiry to VSC.

The response from VSC is as follows:

Your constituent filed a I-129F Petition for Alien Fiance(e). The Vermont Service Center is currently processing this form type with receive dates of October 15, 2012, and earlier.

You or your constituent can view the current processing times at www.uscis.gov.

The response from the congressman's ofc representative basically was saying there is no way Jan 2013 filers and forward are getting approved. If they are appearing on VJ it is not true and the VJ and other sites are lying. I did question what incentive would folks have to lie, however did not want to push it. Anyways, I was thankful the office did put forth the effort to inquire and it kind of is what it is at this point.

My fellow VJ's, I want to hear your opinion... a) what's the deal with VSC and b) what's the deal with congressman ofc not being able to push?

have you checked your status on USCIS today? many Dec and Jan filers were transferred to another service center and received notice today. As for the deal with VSC we really only know what's going on from igors list... they're finishing oct and processing nov... but even if your application wasn't moved and is still at VSC it's a good sign for you because many of the people who were before you in line from December have been transferred elsewhere. Our NOA1 date is Nov 20th I called today to speak to tier two and they put a service request in and told me to wait two weeks and if i didn't hear to call back.

I don't think any VJ members would lie about receiving approvals. I certainly hope not. That would be so discouraging for us all. I do hope this is not true.

It happens all the time.. people getting approved soon then others.. normal.. be patient or u will go crazy.. good luck
