I understand she might be disappointed, but you have good reasons (from what I read before). Tell her she'll do fine If your relationship is bona fide, there should be no problem. Suggest her to read Manila interviews reviews to see what she might expect. Good luck to your fiancee!

Most people have to go to their interview alone. Cause let's face it. Not everyone can get the time off from work/responsibilities or they can't afford traveling on relatively short notice.

Like someone said, she can look into what other people had to answer during their interviews.

Keep her positive. Be patient, she's probably really nervous.

Tell her she'll be fine. While I agree that it is nice to have the US fiancé there for moral support, most of us did not have our fiancés with us for the interview. It is absolutely normal to be nervous (boy was I nervous before my interview), but tell her not to let that consume her daily routine.

What really made me feel better were the statistics (I do not recall the link, but it was somewhere on the USCIS website I believe): 97 percent of all K1 visas get approved. The statistics are in her favor, good luck!

Ask her if she have relative that can go with her in manila during interview and wait her outside or in hotel while she's inside the embassy. She don't need to worry bcoz she can make friend's over there.

I'm sure she will make new friends while waiting in line, and they'll all be rooting for one another. Everyone's in the same sort of boat.

If my fiancee were to do the interview alone, it would be a good thing she can't bring her electronics in, because she might miss her number being called with her headphones on--heh heh!

Just from what I've seen, the biggest issue to be concerned about in Manila is finances. If the finances are in order then people usually do okay. The interview isn't usually that bad. I wasn't there either and this is what my fiancee (now wife) experienced.

The questions asked were:
Who is the petitioner?
How did you meet?
When did you first meet?
When did you meet in person?
When was the last time you saw him?

Then she looked at our pictures and said we're approved.

I am sure your reasons are bonafide and you can not go.. But honestly I do not blame her for being upset. It is a daunting process for her to change her life and eventually move her whole life to the USA. She s sacrificing a lot... From a woman's viewpoint she should be upset... So maybe you can tell her the reasons why you know she is upset so she can at least feel you know what she is feeling....

Maybe you can talk to get on Skype before and after the interview to soften the blow
