So far I need a co-sponsor to bring my wife to the USA, MY father has agreed to be the co-sponsor but he is 75 , retired union construction worker, he makes enough but I am scared they wont accept his sponsorship , if not what else can I do everyone else has refused to help.

My wife is mailing me all her docs and photos on Tuesday.

Other thing to do would be to find another job or two to make more income so you can support her.

I agree with Inky. Your options are clear. Find a family or friend to be a cosponsor that will be accepted, or get another job - higher paying or secondary to meet the requirements yourself.

Unfortunately there really is no other way around. Best of luck to you!

If he meets the income requirement, why are you worried that he won't be accepted as a joint sponsor? My father sponsored my husband and he's also retired and in his late 70s. They accepted his co-sponsorship without any problems.

Philippines has different issues with co-sponsors. Its often harder to have them approved.

The root of the problem is this , for the last 1.5 year I am building my new business I am already working 7 days a week (feels like 14 days a week)

and I have not taken a paycheck , only what is required to pay bills and that's it.

in a few months I wont have anything to worry about , but this is happening now..........

I just got an email from my last hope saying that because of the 10 yr involvement that he could not be a sponsor
