Salamu Alaykum everyone! I'm new to this forum. I have a question. My husband lives in morocco and i live in the usa. I have not seen him for 1 year one month and a half sad.gif because i have to work and im a student in college studying medicine alhamdulillah. How long does it take in the intial review i had been waiting 7 months now. So i called uscis tuesday and they let me talk with someone higher alhamdulillah. He said that i should know in two weeks. I'm hoping that it gets approved so i can move on the the next step. I'm going to require a sponsor in sha Allah and i already have the person. is there anything that i should know in advance ?

Salam u should def visit him soon i know that they see that as a red flag if you havent seen him in a long time.. If u r always busy with work and school make sure to keep track of how u communicate phone bill, emails, chats, skype call , letters from ur and his family and friends knowing of yr relationship they always need evidence because they are quick to deny people at the interview for lack of proof of relationship. Good luck if u need any help let me know;)

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
