May 2013 I-130 Filers

Okay now it says "On November 25, 2013, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. The new office has jurisdiction over your case and will send you a decision as soon as processing is complete or you will be notified if further information or action is needed. If you move, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address."

Does that mean it got transferred to a U.S. office 'cause WE ARE IN HONG KONG! And everything on my I-130 said that.

you got transferred already? I'm also May filer in HK. Hope mine is coming up soon.

I'm in hk also, but no transfers or updates for me. I had noa1 on May 15th. I hope we get a decision soon. Mine went through the Chicago lock box to the national benefits center... How about you guys?

my Noa 1 is May 14th and also went through the lockbox to the NBC. My beneficiary is not from the Philippines, so it might just have to wait a bit longer without an expedite.

Hope everyone here is doing well, and getting the News they are expecting. I filed mine dating back May 29th. My PD date is May 29th. Any update for anyone who filed in MAY and their I-130 was sent to NBC in KANSAS. I'm a born citizen and serving my country in the military, and this process is driving me insane. I had called USIC two week ago, their response to me was they are looking at OCT 2012 paperwork. I called to expedite the process because I heard if you are in the armed service they will help you out. They will only expedite if I was beening deployed and have orders for deployment. What else can I do, while I'm waiting or what other forms should I start filling out once my I-130 is approve? Anything will help to ease my mind and also my wife as well.

My husband is also serving in the military. I looked online and he went to the legal office to ask for an expedite, but unfortunately its true that you can only expedite when youre about to deploy. Doesnt make much sense to me because that means you will be seperated again, but i guess thats the military. Sorry, that i cant give you any better news.

I have almost the same PD as you, so I feel like we have to wait 2-3 more months until we get our NOA2. So lets hope we will be reunited in Summer.

If you wanna do something, I would say look into everything you need for the next step. Start filling out the paperwork if you can and get certified copys of whatever you need. This will shorten the time between NOA2 and the next step.

Yea I really dont know what paper work or forms I need to start working with. I know I have to submit a I-485, but that is all I know.

^ Yes, they told us today that they're processing February 2013 now, but I wouldn't count on it really being the case.

edit. they also told us that we can't submit a service request since we are filing from abroad...

I don't trust Tier 1 or Tier 2 at all... They don't really know.. They're just assuming...

They're stupid. My husband and i kept arguing who the APPLICANT is because of them. The guy told me he couldnt give me any info over the phone coz im not the applicant or petitioner, and when my husband called them, the person who answered the phone asked him "are you the applicant? Is the visa for u?" So my husband said no im the us citizen the visa is for my wife, and the guy answered him with "well u are not the applicant u are the peitioner" UGGGHH! Theyre so freakn confusing!

the USC is the petitioner and the beneficiary is the applicant.
