I got this email from NSC FollowUp email

Good afternoon,

USCIS electronic records confirm that your I-130 case is pending background check clearance. USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in a timely and efficient manner while also ensuring public safety, national security, and compliance with all relevant directives. Please note that some applications and petitions have unresolved background check issues which delay adjudication. Although USCIS makes every effort to resolve such cases promptly, USCIS is unable to speculate when the background check process will be completed in your case. If you do not receive a decision or other notice of action within 90 days from the date of this email, please contact us for an update.

My wife found that it means they probably haven't even started the background check... Quite amusing when especially she has no criminal background at all and her fingerprints are on file due the visa and working in the medical field..

U emailed scop and OLU right? Received any response from them of status verification or something?

Yes we did Samreen. They said they would respond back as soon as they received an answer from Texas.. nothing so far! sad.png I wonder if they lost our case. Day 72 now.

My wife found that it means they probably haven't even started the background check... Quite amusing when especially she has no criminal background at all and her fingerprints are on file due the visa and working in the medical field..

Yes we did Samreen. They said they would respond back as soon as they received an answer from Texas.. nothing so far! sad.png I wonder if they lost our case. Day 72 now.

Yeah same here. 85 days since transfer. God this is so frustrating.

Yeah same here. 85 days since transfer. God this is so frustrating.

It's just odd because a lot of people with the same priority date and around us were transferred 2-3 weeks before we were to a service center. We were transferred to TSC Dec 30th...

The wife kept replying to their messages. They said whenever they would get a response from the service center they would be in contact with us again. This was last Friday. Make sure you do it around 8AM so the e-mail is at the top of the list.

im an april 2013 filer,


so my wife just called the supervisor of the uscis rite now, she told her that our case was approved on August 2013


but when im checking my case it says the same from January .23.2104, that our case was transferred to the uscis local field office,


omg im so confused, and i so cant sleep tonight


please tell me what should i do ???,

I have double checked that email. That is an email I sent to SCOPSSCATA around 2:50PM on Friday. SCOPSSCATA then forwarded to NSC only 4 minutes later, with the note that "for resolution and response" as you see below

Sent: Friday, March 07, 2014 2:54 PM

To: NSCFollowup.NCSC

Subject: FW: Case Number MSCXXXXXXX029 Need help

For resolution and response. Thank you.

And the mail I received is from NSC
