Hi All,

Just like everyone else here, we are getting very frustrated...we filed our I-130 in early May 2013 from Taiwan to, I guess the Chicago Dropbox, don't actually remember but we had to send to US because Taiwan doesn't have a consulate. Received a Transfer notice to the Texas office December 6 and still have not heard a thing about our application. It's been over 60 days and I'm seeing other people heard about their applications sooner. My wife is in Taiwan working and I'm here in the US but just haven't heard yet and wondering what we should do? Should I call our Senator's office? Is there any recourse except to wait? Has anybody else heard from the Texas office recently? there are so man threads here I don't know where to post this...

I guess I'm just ranting and congrats to everyone that has successfully heard about their applications!!

Congratulations to all the recently approved folks, very happy and optimistic about all of this now! I was curious whether those who have received approval were all from Nebraska and not Texas? Anyone recently approved out of the Texas office? Just curious from a selfish point of view...and again, Congrats to all the recently approved people!

So when did you submit? I submitted on May 5, 2013, so it takes them upwards of 7 weeks to get that far?

Curious where you saw that information....

Yeah, everybody seems to be saying that they were approved through the Nebraska office, but nothing from Texas...

Thanks for posting a reply to me though, good luck!

The USCIS just updated their timelines to Dec 31 from Nov 30.

Congratulations to the approvals, and good luck to the rest!

Last month it seemed like there was a lot of action right after the numbers were updated!

Is your timeline updated?

We submitted on May 16, 2013.

They updated the processing times today on the USCIS website, but they are still two months behind on what the actual figures are... Nebraska has been getting a lot of approvals lately, but they are the slowest service center as a lot of people were not getting any approvals from there while others were.

Depends how fast their workers are going! Hopefully you'll hear something soon :).

I think someone asked earlier how fast the RFE showed up. We got the email notice on Feb 10th and the paper version was in the in-laws' mailbox on the 14th.

We got the RFE because of our marriage certificate. Apparently it's not good enough, since it was not a civil ceremony. We got married in a church, which is completely normal and legal in Finland. We called USCIS and they told us to mail the marriage certificate again and explain that the said document is valid... If they deny us, we have no idea what to do, since we can't get exactly married again in the civil registrar's office just to please NSC. We have been married for several years already. We did however, get a piece of paper from the civil registrar's that shows we are married, but it's not a marriage certificate. I guess now we wait again...

IR1 took 520 days....
