Hello everyone! I just sent off our I-129F today...wish us luck on that end. But on to the topic...my fiance' lost his passport! Question...does he have to have already had this replaced when he goes to his appt. at the embassy or can they process all of that the same day? And would it be an additional charge? I'm asking all of this because it seems like everything is such a big, long drawn out task there. It's nothing like how we can just print online and mail things off with a check...quite annoying!

I hope this makes sense. Thanks a bunch for all of your help.

Does anyone know the cost of replacement? Thanks again!

US embassy/consul does not deal with making / giving out foreign passports. He would have to deal with whatever Jamaican government section/office deals with Passports.

He will have to have his passport already by the interview time and must hand it over to the US embassy/consul when he is approved to have the visa stamped into it.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.
