Hello friends!

Question:

Say we send the application to be processed. Would it be ilegal/possible for me to stay with my fiance in his country during the process; in other words, wait for the interview together?

You as the USC can stay wherever you like--would be great to stay in CR until everything is ready !!

Of course you have to meet all the financial requirements, so be sure that you do before you head to CR for an extended period.

Thanks for your response! I just feel like I cant do the distance. Its so hard! Now when you say meet the financial requirements before I go, what would that have to be?

THanks for your help!!

Sounds like maybe you haven't read through the entire K-1 process. Click on Guides at the top of the screen and then read everything about K-1, and pay close attention to the financial requirements. You or someone else have to meet the requirements--salary, cash in the bank, stocks & bonds, real estate, etc, etc

So, if you are depending on your salary to meet the requirements for example, and you are out of the country for several months, then you will have to have some proof that your job is still waiting for you
