May 21st!? Not fair! I'm NOA May 16 and still at initial review. Sigh just gotta be patient i guess.

Looks like you got transferred to Texas. Hopefully an approval is soon. I am scared for those of us stuck at VSC. Will our petitions get touched or lost with those from earlier this year that haven't been touched.

i'm hoping we could have the case number soon, fianće will call them up Friday and i sent an email inquiry already. just re applied for the police clearance although i still have a valid one, they said they need a newer one, one that's at least filed just weeks before the actual interview so will just wait and see what happens there. i'm hoping to be done with medical on sept and schedule an interview by october. i'm still currently employed so that's keeping me busy while waiting.

prepare ko na lahat ng documents.. nbi clearance tayo diba.. nakakuha na ako nung monday.. nbi is valid for year.. no need na kumuha ng bago. hinihintay ko na lng iyong case number and then masend sa manila... then pa schedule agad ng appointment no need na hintayin iyong letter ng embassy.. hehehe..

I'm a June filer so have been keeping an eye on WAC numbers with NOA1 dates in June and late May. Some June filers have also been approved, apparently with no expedite. I don't get how later filed petitions are approved over ones before them.....

I'm a June filer so have been keeping an eye on WAC numbers with NOA1 dates in June and late May. Some June filers have also been approved, apparently with no expedite. I don't get how later filed petitions are approved over ones before them.....

Ugh, really? That is definitely frustrating, being that I'm an EARLY May filer. I did get my RFE August 1st, so at least that is something. But I would like to be APPROVED. This waiting game is really hard!!

Yeah it's quite frustrating to see that there's no certain order to the approvals. Just to give you an indication of the range of WAC numbers that were approved, these were the ones I found that were approved over the past couple days:

Yeah it's quite frustrating to see that there's no certain order to the approvals. Just to give you an indication of the range of WAC numbers that were approved, these were the ones I found that were approved over the past couple days:

Indeed, hoping for the best. I was browsing others' timelines and while I know they are no guarantee about how our case receives replies, I am thinking we should hear about our NOA2 in a couple of weeks. They have our RFE documents (as far as I know), so all they have to do is approve (or, god forbid deny) our application. The other reason I am nervous about the deadline of things is because we have planned a traditional wedding at the end of March in Canada... but, there is a few months waiting period in the US where we (I) cannot leave until I receive a travel permit. So needless to say once all this is approved (fingers crossed!) we will be getting married right away in the US.

Just FYI - You can apply for Advance Parole if it gets to that point so that you can leave the country while your AOS is processing.

Today we received the hardcopy of our NOA2 in the mail. Only took 4 days And on the form it says our file is being forwarded to the consulate listed (assuming it will go through NVC on its way). Is this the consulate I specified on the form? I found out later on that Ottawa (the consulate I specified before I realized Montreal does them) doesn't actually do these sorts of visas, but Montreal does. So I hope they forward it to Montreal and not Ottawa. You'd think they'd know.

This process is so strange and frustrating - they really don't seem to be going in any sort of trackable order. Fingers crossed for all May filers who have yet to receive an RFE or approval <3

Well I guess I am considered a May filer since that's when they received and sent me my NOA1 receipt? Or would I be an April filer since I mailed the original packet at the end of the month?

Anyway, I called NVC today once again and when the lady told me they didn't get it yet and the standard "wait 8 weeks" deal, I asked to speak to her supervisor and was told that they really hadn't received it yet. I got NOA2 approval on July 29 and got the hardcopy few days later but have read some who got approval on July 25-26 who already got their case forwarded to NVC & have their case # already so hopefully mine's next! Yesterday I sent my fiancé all the post-NOA2 docs as well so all we're waiting on is that damn MCN so she can schedule her interview already!

Actually, with the case # one can schedule both medical and interview, right? When do they schedule the medical....
