The American Consulate in Guangzhou, China is very slow. I imagine the Phlippines and much the same. I was NOA2 Sept 18, my petition left NVC 10/5 and they still don't have it in Guangzhou. I've emailed them twice now. They've answered me both times. The last email made me feel they didn't want me to email them again. They said it takes up to 60 days to clear customs in China for them to receive the petition from NVC.

I know how you feel its very frustrating. I remember when Cairo Embassy recieved out K-1 petition on August 31. But we never recieved our packet 3 the first time. We had to contact the Consulate over and over again they finally after almost a month emailed back and they had to sent us another on becuase the first packet was never recieved. It took us almost 2 months to recieve packet 3. And the only way i could talk to anyone about our case if through email. It was horrible. But don't worry sometimes it takes time for them to recieve your K-1 approved petition, and they have to put it into there system which takes time also. You will have packet 3 before you know it. But if i were you i would email them at 3 times at the same time to make sure they get it. I emailed my fiance embassy at least once a week until they responded. Good luck with the rest of your journey.

Fel, it took 3 weeks to get the letter with no holidays in between, You have had several holidays between the receipts of your case and today, be patient. If you emailed the USE, it took them 4 weeks to repliy to my email. Good luck, Ken
