Hello all!

Sorry if a topic has already been posted regarding this.

I have my K1 Visa interview coming up on May 20th and just had a question regarding my 14 month old Son.

He has dual citizenship already, he has a US passport, dual birth certificate and a social security number.

I have inquired already and know he doesn't have to attend the interview with me, as he won't have to apply for a visa and the K1 visa is obviously for myself. My question is, the documents I need to bring for myself(with photocopies), do I need to bring any documents for my son also? Even though he isn't applying for a visa, he will still be travelling with me, so do i need to bring his birth certificate with me or his US passport etc to prove anything?

Just the interview is getting closer and need to know everything, my answer I would say is 'no' but just want to double check.

Thanks.

There is no reason to bring anything for your son. He is not getting a visa. He isn't in the picture at all. He is going to the US as an American on a US passport. Nothing to do with your interview.

Thank you!

I didn't think so as like you said, he is completely separate from my K1 visa, he will be accompanying me to the US with dual citizenship. I just wanted to double check as on some threads I have heard different things regarding the interview and it gets confusing. :)
