I am in the same boat with an approval of march 29, 2013 and still nothing, i also recieved the same email the other day and all this waiting is getting very frustrating. I called USCIS twice in the last few days and they refused to transfer me to tier two. What is their problem lately and what is so difficult about sending a file out. I cant understand how some files are sent fron CSC within a few days and others go untouched for weeks or months. I just contacted my congressmans office today and i hope i get some news fairly quickly.

Please see this one maybe it will help you. This the last message I recieved in NVC research dated April 15,2013 Dear Sir/Madam:

for USCIS to locate your petition.

Please send one email at a time and give NVC time to respond.

Sincerely,

Jess

National Visa Center

Written Inquiry Unit after this email USCIS send an email that they already forwarded my approved notice in NVC please see the USCIS post decision Application Type: I130 , IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

I would say hang in there. NVC received on 04/29 and I got the case number yesterday. After nearly 63 days as my NoA2 was 03/12. My service center is also California Service center.

You should at least have tier 2 rep, create a case request. I did not find senator's liaison that helpful as California has lot of immigrants and they simply don't care.

Congrats! kicking.gif

Woohoo, grats! kicking.gif

Have you contacted USCIS to see if the case has been sent out? Until it's been sent out, contacting NVC is a moot point.

Time to review posts 1 and 2...

my husband didnt contact USCIS yet. But he called NVC yesterday, they said they have our documents now but it will take 15 days again to be put in their system. Do we need to call them again today to juz wait for the 15 days?

Wow, it took them 15 business days just to say they don't have the file and now they'll start looking for it!

I think I can expect to receive that email any day now, as I emailed them on the 25th.

Did you try to involve your congressional liaison to help find your case?

nop, we didnt try to involve congressional liason. i think we'l just try to call NVC until we have our case #.
