Just a question about packet 3, if anyone has any ideas on how to make it easier please let me know. Do I immediately call the Dr for a medical or do I have to get everything else done first?

i sent in my chklist with DS230 part I and then did the rest

medical is on 8 mar with Dr Seiden

PARENTS JOURNEY

Dec 10 - sent I130 for Mom & Dad

Jan- Recd NOA1

Feb- Recd RFE for missing BC

Mar- Recd RFE for missing BC

Apr- NOA2 Case approved

May- NVC case #

May- paid $88 AOS FEE

Go ahead and call the doctor for your appointment. I just indicated my appt. date on my checklist as I was sending it back before my appt. I even sent the checklist back before having my police certificate :whistle:

Sept 29 - green card arrives, done until June 2008 day 140-total days 381

March 9 - Removal of Conditions approved! total days 1277

Thats great news Karen and Joel.

Fill the forms out as soon as you can, then send that part back to Montreal.

You can get your police record and medical done as soon as you can now. Then once ya send in that checklist your good to go. They actually go by the date they receive the DS forms to give you your appointment. You should hopefully have an appointment by middle April I bet, unless things are really slow there. Took me three weeks to get my date after I sent in the forms. Then the interview was three weeks from that date I received the letter.

So happy for you both.

10 year GC Approved - APRIL 16th ,2009 - Peggy and Jonathan's......

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

I will call for an appt for the medical tomorrow. the police certificate will be here next week. after i get the medical appt can i then send in the ds forms tomorrow?
