Congratulations, but. "Approved (please follow directions on the form)" means what? The form you receive in the mail may direct you to mail the photographs and/or any other document back. Then, after you send whatever is asked, they may send back your passport without stamp. Then, after you get another letter, they may say they processed what they asked you for last time, but during the wait, they need send another request, and so on. So, until your final "approval" arrives in the form of a visa stamp on your fiancee's passport, I would not advise you to buy plane tickets. My fiancee had the inverse problem. She brought 10X more than she needed to her interview, including hundreds of photographs in albums and a resume with 10 years of work history (which they would not accept at intake). Then, she was told she was approved and to wait for her passport back within a week. Yet, they strung her along for another 8 months. They first asked her to send ... a resume with 10 years of work/education history (LOL!), then another background check, then another medical exam, and so on, and so forth... Finally, after her fourth "approval" she was on an airplane (only to be misstamped as B-1 v. K-1 by CBP at POE...(LOL!). Again, congratulations, but until she's on the plane, contain your celebration!
