Were were at over 30 approvals a day last week. Now we are at around 2 for today?!!

What happend??

Did the guys at CSC just work hard for 1 week and give up???!!

This is terrible. God save us!

Even worse, the 2 cases that were approved were after mine!! lol

What do you guys think???

Will the CSC get back up to speed? or was that a sudden rush. . .

Are you both tracking your NOA1 group at the USCIS website?

I think people are starting to get a little spoiled by CSC playing catch up. I'd love to see them keep this up until they had no K-1 petitions left to approve, but let's all be a little more realistic. Once they get caught up, which at the current pace, is likely to be fairly soon (next few weeks), be ready for a slow down from CSC. They hopefully don't ever come to a halt again like they did at the end of last year, but be ready to go back to only seeing a few per day, and some days without any. That is more along the lines of reality.

I don't want to burst bubbles, as I'd be overjoyed to see them continue to plow through the petitions for everyone, but it's not realistic. They are likely taking resources from other types of petitions and focusing on K-1's at the moment to clear the backlog. I just want people to be prepared. I've noticed lately that even when the flood of approvals comes late in the day, people are disappointed and thinking that they won't get approved or will have to wait. I really just think people need to think about this a little more realistically. It's ok to be optimistic and hope for the best, but remember that reality rarely lines up with optimistic. Vermont plowed through petitions until they caught up and now they are back to a more "normalized" process, meaning fewer petitions now than they were putting out last month.

Hope for the best, but prepare for the reality please.....we'll get what we want eventually

I nominate this for post of the year. Let's hope the CSC achieves BALANCE!

What Bayareaguy said. That and, well, nerves are still just a bit raw. We are all still in shock that the long nightmare appears to have ended. Can it really be true? Keep the faith y'all! It will all be over soon. Woo hooooo :)

What is our "noa1 group"??

You take your NOA1 receipt #WAC139XXX9970 and then change the last number(s) to go up and down about 100 each side. You are looking for other I129F petitions with the same date as you. Write them down as you go so you can check them again in the future. Eventually you will hit the date before you and the date after you, stop then. Now you can track those with K1 petitions the same date as yours and see when they start getting processed. However, you will see alot of other type cases around yours too, need to patient doing this the first time. Good luck and STAY PATIENT. We all have to wait our turn.
