CSC any approvals today?

In the ~35 cases the same date as mine (WAC#s) there we're about 5 rfe's today, and a couple with "alien registration number changed", which usually means an upcoming approval or RFE. Of course out of the 8 or so cases remaining untouched is also mine.

A week after my NOA1, which was April 8, 2013, I got an update that said "alien registration number changed". What does that mean?

i have looked at every WAC case for these dates. I was considering looking higher than my WAC to help some of you out that want to know exactly how many cases are open between your own number and the official 7/18 number :)

My number ends with 069971 and when I get to 070000 is comes up with no case. Any idea on how to keep researching the upper end? I found the boundry on the lower end.

Looks like you're late October, so I probably can't help, but: the farthest back I looked for myself was November 5, and this was a valid EAD from that time period: WAC1390147722. It's not MINE, mind you, just the earliest one I researched in looking for ones around me. So possibly change your 070000 to 100000?

Yes, pick a time where you have a lot of idle time on your hands to go through them. Also, make sure to record the #s of the ones you do find so you don't waste your effort.

i tried that bayareaguy and only went as far as 5 or 10 numbers back and after my WAC# but most of them specially the numbers after mine are already approved or RFEd. how can they be approved or RFEd ahead of me is what puzzles me:(

You might try 100000, the 3 numbers after the year are usually 90x from the ones I've looked at, so go up one more on the x?

There were also VERY few (if any) last Friday (4/12), or any Friday in recent memory. I kinda suspect they are either furloughed on Fridays (a lot of California state offices are closed on Fridays now, due to to budget issues -- admittedly this should be a Federal office so I'm not sure?) or simply assigned to deal with other casework on Fridays. I'm not panicking because I think it's relatively normal. But I sure will be watching to make sure the pace keeps up next week!

Yes, in the past there have been so few approvals that it was hard to say with any accuracy whether or not they were working on Fridays but I suspect you are correct,it seems clear now that something is going on with Fridays. Let's hope they are all over it Monday!!

How did you find this information Bayareaguy?

I got a call from my congresswoman today but no NOA2! She said that CSC told her our file is with a officer for review and that we should be receiving something in the mail within 30 days with a response. That is all she said.

that generaly means you'll be aproved in a few days. good luck.

Look up online who your rep is. Usually they have office hours where you can drop in and ask them to look at your case. Also, online they usually have a privacy form that you will need to fill out allowing them to look into your case (they ask for your bday, case number, social, etc...). I met with a Rep brought the privacy form, a copy of my NOA1, and wrote a letter explaining the slow down at CSC etc...

I haven't contacted my senator.

A week after my NOA1, which was April 8, 2013, I got an update that said "alien registration number changed". What does that mean?

It's normal to get one about a week or so after your NOA1 - doesn't mean anything regarding NOA2 or anything. I got that message on Dec. 31, and my NOA1 was Dec. 21st.

I am the USC/petitioner.

Our K-1 Journey
12/19/2012 - Mailed I-129F via USPS Express
12/21/2012 - I-129F arrives in Lewisville, TX according to USPS tracking (delayed because it's the USPS)
12/21/2012 - NOA1 date of receipt
12/26/2012 - NOA1 received via text/email
12/27/2012 - Checked cashed by USCIS
12/31/2012 - Alien Number changed (NOA1 hardcopy in post, but was away for 2 weeks prior)

05/16/2013 - NOA2 received via text/email

05/20/2013 - NOA2 hardcopy received in post

05/28/2013 - NVC receives packet and assigns London case number

07/15/2013 - Sent all paperwork/medical complete

08/23/2013 - Receive Interview Date

09/19/2013 - Interview
