Hi Vjers! My husband got approved last April 18 on his interview. We are still waiting for the visa to arrive at home. My question is, when is the right time to pay the $165 fee? :) Thank you and God Bless!

Must be paid before travel. per the letter with your/his packet.

No one asked us for a receipt, so not sure how they can verify it. It will delay your green card if I am correct.

I paid it before we got to the airport, because you need the alien number and your case number to pay.

Pay it as soon as he receives the visa and visa packet. You, the petitioner will pay for it online. Instructions are included in the packet. It must be settled BEFORE hubby flies to the US.

He will also have to attend the Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) at CFO. http://www.cfo.gov.ph/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1348:fiancee-spouses-and-other-partners-of-foreign-nationals&catid=140

International terminal fee at NAIA is 550 pesos. Travel tax is 1,620 pesos (check if travel tax is already included in his air fare, if not it should be paid at the airport).
