I was talking about person who came into my workplace who was generalizing all moslims as terrorists.

This guy has many "issues" and thankfully I don't encounter him often.

I don't think in light of "future" public safety that Miranda Rights should apply. Just my opinion, sometimes I think criminals have too many rights.

Here's the thing about rights. They're not supposed to be voted on. That's why they call them RIGHTS. People can only be called "alleged criminals" until they are actually tried and convicted of the crime they are accused of. What happened in the course of events leading up to their arrest does not make them guilty of the Boston marathon bombing unless it can be proven that they did the actual Boston marathon bombing without a shadow of a doubt.

There are something like 52 Universities in Boston. It's a University mecca. Not that you need a reason to carry a backpack but how would you like to be placed in the wrong place, at the wrong time, with pictures or video that shows you were carrying a backpack that you maybe forgot or left behind and were coming back to? Then a bomb exploded and you're accused of that, called a criminal, and hunted down when you know you're innocent? This is not to say these guys are innocent but they have the same rights as us to a fair trial with all the evidence being presented.

Their victims were stripped of life and their families deserve the justice of truth and not something that a lawyer is filtering to protect their client. Innocent' until proven guilty? The events after the bombing are proof enough that these brothers are guilty as hell, no court system will convince me of otherwise.

Again this is such a dangerous line of thinking. You're basically convicting them based on the media coverage. Do you actually believe the sensationalized media coverage? I have my degree in it and work in the business so I know how it operates. First know that 90% of America's media is owned by 6 corporations. Link The mainstream media in America is a monopoly. We only know what is being presented to us. So what about all the other details and angles that are left out or ignored that isn't covered in 15 sec, 30 sec, 1 min, 1 min and 15 sec, or 1 min and 45 sec script?

Also in this case the media has proved it's unreliable as using it for the sole evidence presented to the viewers or any jury.

For example:

1.) The media first said there was a Saudi suspect taken into custody.

2.) Then the media named two completely different suspects for the Boston marathon bombing. One was a missing Brown University student named Sunil and the other was a guy with the first name Michael.

3.) Then the media claimed there were two different suspects and that one of them was arrested.

4.) Then the media came back and said there was no arrests but that there were two suspects, they're brothers and they killed the older brother.

5.) Then the media said they captured one survivor, the younger brother, and were going to get him to talk.

6.) Then the media said really it turns out he's in critical condition because he lost a lot of blood.

He turned the gun on himself by putting it in his mouth and pulling the trigger. He has throat and possibly brain damage so he may never be able to talk to them. We don't report on suicides unless it's extenuating circumstances that affect the public. Such as someone jumped off an overpass and traffic is blocked while they scrape the persons body off the highway, or someone stepped in front of a train and the railways are halted until they collect all the chunks of flesh and brains off the rail lines and gravel. Yeah that's the ####### I get to cover some days and we only get to tell the story in less than 2 minutes.

Miss Universe states or one that can be. We just learned that somebody, someplace, somewhere did something they weren't suppose too. I have along side of me, Dr. Knownothing that is a renown expert on this issue, that will give his worthless opinions on this subject. You can always depend on this station to give you this news first! Our film crews are at the scene to give you instant coverage. Yeah, just showing a bunch of policemen standing around with their hands in their pocket.

Jon Stewart has a blast with this, do we really have to go to a comedy program to learn what is actually happening?

Trying to keep this subject on strictly immigration issues. When I was trying to bring my wife here with all that red tape, heard on the news the USCIS was handing out green cards to Cuban refugees coming here on rafts. Suggested to my wife, could trailer my boat down to Miami, build a cheap raft, and set her on that. Have a radio, could contact the Coast Guard to pick her up. Would certainly save a lot of grief and money. She did take me seriously and said no way. But then I laughed and said we will do it the long expensive hard way.

So why is the USCIS picking on proof of payment of five year old parking tickets? Don't they have more important issues to deal with? Then those huge fines and prison terms for fraud. If I were to do that, would want at least a million bucks because of the risks involved. But if you have a million bucks in your pocket, no problem coming here at all. We welcome your rich!
