Innocent until proven guilty. Though I seem to recall something Obama signed into law where they can strip you of your citizenship without due process if you're considered a terrorist. Or maybe it's under the not so "Patriot Act" that is still in effect over a decade later.

Given the fact that if they catch him alive he will probably get the needle, as they say in the movies, I believe that the issue will not come into question.

Just saying, we tend to be critical of the USCIS for being too careful, but in this case, certainly not careful enough. These two boys certainly ruined a lot of lives, and especially to people they had no issue with. Whatever their problem was.

Did some search in their immigration history, only family mentioned so far was an uncle, how did they come here in the first place? Then most of us are concerned whether we have enough money to bring our loved ones here. Nothing on this subject either, but history is showing those with lots of money that can come here with ease are causing most of the problems. USCIS should go back to what is written on our Statue of Liberty.

Certainly enough on the news now about background checks for buying guns, sounds like our leaders should add doing background checks on purchasing pressure cookers and common hardware items as well. The latter is capable of doing far more damage than guns.

According to this, the boys father is still in Russia. Causing a question as to how did those two boys come here?

"The men's father, Anzor Tsarnaev, said in a telephone interview with AP from the Russian city of Makhachkala that his younger son, Dzhokhar, is "a true angel." He said his son was studying medicine."He is such an intelligent boy," the father said. "We expected him to come on holidays here."

They applied for asylum. I question the father because asylees are supposed to fear their home countries and never go back. That's the point - their home country is so dangerous that they need a new place to live because if they go back there they will be killed, but the father moved back last year and the older son went their for a 6 month holiday last year.

And the younger won't be deported, not only because he is a US Citizen, but mostly because the gov and the feds will want him watched here in jail, not in any other place that could let him out of jail early. Unfortunately that means the US taxpayer will pay for him for life in jail.

Better to pay for him in jail than set him loose back to his homeland where he can wreak more havoc...

Really?!!!!!! Who cares about his citizenship at this point???

It's people asking about whether this is something that would revoke it. A lot of people wonder what it takes to have your citizenship stripped. It's a valid question.

Do you think that he will be stripped from his US citizenship? I mean that's an act of terrorism and almost an act of treason against the US?

yes, it will be the final thing, approximately 4 weeks after his death is complete.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

From what I heard from the boys' aunt based in Canada (TV interview), they came to the US as refugees.
