Do you choose your Port of Entry?

Hey guys, I haven't been able to find this information and I'm sure someone will know right away...When you get your interview date can you buy your plane ticket on your own? Is there a port of entry specifically assigned to you or can you enter the US at any major airport and use that port of entry? My fiance's interview is May 16 and he just reserved a plane ticket for a week later...I wasn't sure if it mattered where he he is entering the US.

You enter where ever you want. There is no assigning of POE or anything like that.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

You can makr reservation but but DO NOt purchase a ticket until visa is in hand, he can poe any airport he chooses

Yes, we just reserved the ticket and we might just buy it not because its cheap and if something goes wrong with the visa we will get refunded all but 200 dollars. Thank you all, sorry if that was a stupid question!! :)
