Got RFE but never received the letter

Hello everybody,

I have been worried about the delay on my removal of conditions process. I had my biometrics appointment on August, after have reschedule it because I was outside the country.

I got a infopass appointment at the begining of March and was told that I should just wait.

Two days ago I sent a e-request. Today I received the answer. They said that a RFE was send to me on January, but I never received it. Also, they said that I should respond the RFE before the deadline or my process would be considered abandoned.

My husband is trying to talk to USCIS right now.

How long do people have to respond to a RFE?

Any input appreciated

The RFE I received last month gave me 85 days to respond from the "notice date" that was on the RFE.

So, depending when in January it was issued, you might have a few days still to reply, but only if they sent it near the end of January...

Fingers crossed they sort this out for you!

I got an RFE and it gave me an exact date I needed to respond - it was 90 days.
