Well I called. At first she said that we'd be able to do a service request. Then she entered some stuff into the computer and apparently I still have to wait 38 days. "The processing times on the site are only goals, they may not always be accurate. I apologize."

So iunno. I got really excited at first like omg! But, alas, we still have to wait guys.

Okay, so its still 6 months waiting time then. thats okay as long as they get back on track and show us more october approvals!

nope! it has changed 3 times but it still shows initial review, we don't even know what's going on with our file!

I hope it means you're close to an approval!

It makes me nervous how there haven't been any VSC approvals today after everything that happened at CSC..

Let's keep hope. n___n

Agree with Dissonantly. Hope you hear the good news soon! VSC please show us more approvals! I'm hoping that maybe the people getting approved are not VJ members so we're not seeing approvals here yet. Anyhow, lets all have HOPE and pray for each and everyone waiting.

07/02/2013 - RFE email notification received
07/19/2013 - RFE reply sent to Vermont
07/30/2013 - NOA-2 date
08/26/2013 - case received by NVC, case number assigned
08/28/2013 - case left the NVC
08/30/2013 - case received by the consulate (but not in the system yet)
09/05/2013 - received a letter with instructions from the consulate
09/20/2013 - interview!
09/25/2013 - visa in hand

Okay,.. before Oct. or Nov,.. August first. I hope VSC come back to its 5-10 approvals per day. Kinda funny though, just read a comment here that maybe they shipped some of VSC workers to CSC to balance their work. Well before VSC workers leave their post, :unsure: they should finish first the August filers left( just saying). :whistle:
