The process is taking a very long time now. July filers are still waiting. I can't say if the short relationship is a red flag, but I would assume it might raise a few eyebrows.

I am the USC/petitioner.

VJ K-1 Guide: http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide

Hank_'s K-1 Guide for Manila: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/261031-some-useful-links/page__st__30__p__5927758#entry5927758

Follow these two guides. Hank_'s has all you need to get prepared for the specifics.

A second trip will look good at the interview especially since it is a long trip too. You only need to meet once within the 2 years before filing to get your petition approved. Getting the visa approved at the interview is another story so the more time you spend together, the better your chances of approval. A speedy petition approval is unlikely even if current politics aren't hindering the pace. 5-7 months is the norm. Under current circumstances, it could take longer as the other poster mentioned. Just hang in there because that is all you can do at this point. Make sure any divorce decree is final and an official copy is on hand. Good luck and welcome!
