Hello All!

I am Canadian and my wife is mexican. She is a doctor currently working in Guadalajara. She will be transferred in the next few months to Tijuana.

\

I need help. I do not want to live in Tijuana. The perfect option would be if we could live in san diego and my wife could make the commute to tijuana on a daily basis. Is this possible? How do we go about doing this? Is she considered a visitor if she only stay a night a week in mexico?

One option is I could go to school in san diego or spend only 6 months a year there.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have a 10 month old mexican/canadian son.

thank you

There is a place in Tijuana that Americans lives, even consulate ppl, since your wife is a Dr I'd say its affordable to your family. Unless you have legal residency in this country

your idea will fly a few months but after that what?, they will stop the daily crossings because you don't have a border card working in the US,.. then where would you send your

child to school.....Get you a nice Casa in the somewhat safe areas where there are Americans, enroll your kid into a private school (English) and while there check with the US

consulate on any legal way you can rent on the San Diego side ???? Do it your way one day the family may not be able to cross back into the US to a home they have there.
